PICKLEBALL

Register for the event
Fill out and submit the attached form to secure your spot in the Desert Color Pickleball Tournament. Ensure all details are accurate. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of pickleball, including scoring and rules of play.

Team Assignment and Schedule Release
After registration, players will be assigned to teams based on the information provided in their registration forms. The schedule for practice sessions and matches will be announced by April 15th. Get ready to start your pickleball journey the week of April 29th, with both practices and matches planned.

Participation in Practices and Matches
Engage in mandatory weekly practices and matches over four weeks, with each team facing a new opponent every week. The competition structure includes matches played best of 3 games, to 11 points, winning by 2. Teams will earn 1 point for each game won. The two teams that have accrued the most points at the end will face off against one another in the finale. A tiebreaker, if needed, will be determined by the total points scored during the teams previous head-to-head match-up.

The intro to pickleball class covers fundamentals, including rules, serving, and volleying, through practical drills. Designed for beginners, it offers a fun, interactive way to learn the sport, improve fitness, and meet others interested in this fast-growing game. No prior experience needed.
BEYOND BEGINNER
LEVEL
EXPERIENCED BEGINNER
The beyond beginner pickleball class elevates skills for advanced beginners and intermediates, focusing on strategy, advanced shots, and positioning. Interactive drills and game play sessions aim to refine techniques, enhance court awareness, and improve competitive play. Ideal for those looking to elevate their game.
JUNIOR PICKLEBALL

8-14 YRS OLD
Junior pickleball classes introduce kids to the sport through fun, age-appropriate drills and games. Emphasizing teamwork, coordination, and basic strategies, these sessions build foundational skills, encourage physical fitness, and foster a love for the game in a supportive, engaging environment. Suitable for young beginners.
